The year changes at Risshun (the start of spring), not on January 1. From January 1 to February 3, 2027 it is still the 2026 (丙午) year. Months change at each solar term as well: in 2027 the 丑 month begins on January 5 and the 寅 month on February 4. The calendar below uses these boundaries.
