How FATE DECODER Reads Beyond the Surface of Your Chart
The chart shown on your reading result is only the entry point of what FATE DECODER reads. A reading that truly lands on you cannot come from skimming the surface of stems and stars. It comes from reading the structures beneath your chart, and from reading what happens when your chart meets the time that surrounds you. None of that is visible on the surface — it requires specific calculations. FATE DECODER computes all of them from your birth date, and the AI is given every one as context before it responds.

What appears on the chart — the entry point of the reading
FATE DECODER first computes and displays the following from your birth date and gender:
Yin Chart / Yang Chart / Daiun / Year Fortune / Month Fortune / Day Fortune / Eight Gate Method / Stem Energy Values / Cosmic Board / Phase Relationships / Abnormal Stem-Branches / Special Stem-Branches.
This is the visible side of your chart — the part most people picture when they think of a fate chart. But the information the AI is given when it responds reaches much further than this.

Reading your structure one layer deeper
Before the AI responds, FATE DECODER calculates the following from your birth date. These results never appear on the chart itself, but they are the foundation that lets the AI's reading land on you personally rather than on a generic profile.
Rokushin (Six Relations) — Derives the stem-branch roles of family relationships (father, mother, spouse, children) and analyses whether those roles are actually carried by stars in your chart.
Body Energy Strength Classification — Classifies the life-force balance of your chart along five steps — very weak, slightly weak, neutral, slightly strong, strong — with numerical scoring. It draws the line between situations where you can spend energy freely, and situations where you tend to burn out.
Guardian Element (Shugojin) — Identifies the element you need (yōjin), the elements that support you, and the elements you should keep distance from. It becomes a compass for what to draw closer to and what to step back from.
Five-Element Balance — How heavily Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water are weighted inside your specific chart.

Reading Tenchusatsu across three layers — chart, time, and direction
Tenchusatsu is not simply 'when it comes around'. FATE DECODER computes it across three different layers:
Tenchusatsu as a structure carved into your chart — birth-year void, birth-month void, birth-day void, day-seat void, day-residence void, together with the compound types: reciprocal void, two-fold fate void, complete fate void, and spouse void.
Tenchusatsu as a time that comes around — Daiun void.
Tenchusatsu as a direction in space — Direction void.
Reading these layers separately lets each kind of unease be picked up from its own root: "why does nothing land in this season," "why does that direction never work for me," "why does my partnership feel structurally off." Each has a different layer behind it.

Reading time fortune as a moving force, not a printed schedule
Listing the stem-branches of Daiun, year, month, and day fortune is just a timetable. FATE DECODER computes how time fortune actually interacts with your chart:
When stem combinations (Kango) light up — Detects the moments when a heavenly stem in your chart joins with a heavenly stem of incoming time.
The phase relationships your chart's earthly branches strike up with incoming time — Three-harmony, branch combinations, clashes, punishments, breaks, and harms. We compute the layer where they appear (Daiun, year, month, day) and when they appear.
This is what lets the AI describe a period not as "good or bad in general," but as "what is happening at the meeting point of your chart and this particular time."
The result: the AI is working from a different depth of information
AI reading quality is not decided by AI cleverness alone. It is decided by how much precise, individual information the AI is given as context.
FATE DECODER's AI is given every calculation listed above as context before it answers. That is why questions reaching into the structure of your life — questions like "why am I in this much pain right now" or "what was I born for" — receive a response shaped by your specific chart and the time currently passing over it, not a generic answer.
What FATE DECODER aims for is not a forecast that names what is going to happen, but a reading that gives you a clearer outline of yourself — so that you can choose your next step with your own hands.
FAQ
Does FATE DECODER's AI use information that is not displayed on the chart?
Yes. The displayed chart (Yin Chart, Yang Chart, Daiun, Year/Month/Day Fortune, Eight Gate Method, Stem Energy Values, Cosmic Board, Phase Relationships, Abnormal and Special Stem-Branches) is only the entry point. Behind it, FATE DECODER computes Rokushin (Six Relations), Body Energy Strength Classification, Guardian Element, Five-Element Balance, extended Tenchusatsu across three layers (chart structure, time, and direction), stem combination (Kango) timing, and the phase relationships your chart's branches strike up with incoming time. The AI receives all of these as context before it responds.
What is the Guardian Element (shugojin)?
Looking at the balance of your chart as a whole, the Guardian Element identifies the element you need (yōjin), the elements that support you, and the elements you should keep distance from. The AI uses this as a compass for what to draw closer to and what to step back from in its reading.
Isn't Tenchusatsu just a time period that comes around?
Tenchusatsu actually splits into several layers — as a structure carved into your chart (birth-year, birth-month, birth-day, day-seat, day-residence voids, plus reciprocal, two-fold fate, complete fate, and spouse voids), as a time that comes around (Daiun void), and as a direction in space (Direction void). FATE DECODER computes all of these, so the AI can tell you which layer a particular unease is coming from.
Does FATE DECODER predict the future?
No. FATE DECODER is not a service that names what will happen. The aim is to give you a clearer outline of yourself by reading your chart and the time currently passing over it, so that you can choose your next step with your own hands.
